Very powerful message by Dr. Bob Roberts…I can only say AMEN!The song “Beyond these Walls” was great!…we truly need to go beyond the walls of our church, our denominations, our comfort zones to impact the world that God loves. As the salt is taken out of the container to make a difference… so must we. I am excited at how God is going to use the Free Methodist Church worldwide in this generation. All praise to Him!
Amen to the message –but I wonder if anyone will address the fact that more and more believers, in the name of love, don’t think they should defend the Bible and denounce sin in any way– in the face of those who say regarding homosexuality and gay marriage, “Well, now, the Bible says a lot of things that we don’t adhere to anymore –that aren’t quite credible by today’s scholars” –and so on. I feel like we are being told to just love people so they will notice what nice and lovely Christians we are –but to never suggest or teach (as in Christian blogs) that transgendering and homosexuality are not God’s loving plan for humankind –but a deception from Satan.
This was one of the ten best sermons I have heard in my life!
